Directing Summary
Richard has been directing for over thirty-five years in the Washington D.C. area. Closely aligned with his directing and teaching, he is interested in new play development, as reflected in his work with Charter Theatre, First Draft at the Rose Theatre, and other institutions. He has directed numerous readings and workshops of new plays, as well as productions of musicals, operettas, plays at numerous venues including Source Theatre, New Playwrights Forum, New Works Theatre, Charter Theatre and First Draft at the Rose Theatre Company.
